Donor Advised Fund 

Many people prefer to give to Central Square Theater through their donor-advised fund. A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a centralized charitable account. It allows charitably-inclined individual, families and businesses to make tax-deductible charitable donations of cash, publicly-traded stock and in some case, certain illiquid assets, to a public charity that sponsors a DAF program.  Central Square Theater is registered with numerous DAF programs.  To learn if or how you can give to Central Square Theater through your DAF of choice, please contact Maggie Moore Abdow for personalized assistance at 617.576.9278 ext. 208.

Tribute and Memorial Gifts

Making a donation to Central Square Theater in honor of or in memory of a friend or loved one is a meaningful way to celebrate that person. We will notify the appropriate party about your  gift, and we will send a gift acknowledgement to you, the donor. Gifts of Stock

Your gift of appreciated securities (stock) will help ensure the high quality of your theater’s productions and education programs and will provide you with special donor benefits in addition to potential tax savings. When making a stock transfer, please notify Maggie Moore Abdow at 617.576.9278 ext. 208 to ensure proper recognition of your gift.

Legacy Gifts

Central Square Theater will gratefully work with you and your financial planner to arrange a legacy gift including (but not limited to) a bequest, charitable gift annuity, charitable remainder trust, life insurance, and retirement plan assets.

Matching Gifts 

Double or Triple your Donation to Central Square Theater! Please inquire with your company’s human resources department to see if your gift to Central Square Theater qualifies for a matching gift.
