Cori Couture
Cori Couture (Audio Description Coordinator & Pre-show Describer) she/her, is thrilled to be helping Central Square Theatre get up and running with audio description (AD). She has provided AD for TV, film, and about 125 Boston-area productions, at more than a dozen theatres. Other AD projects include work with WGBH, the Commonwealth of MA, Paramount, NASA, the 9/11 Museum, and Disney Parks. She has been interviewed about AD for podcasts, theatres, educational programs, and online panels. She was recently awarded a Creative Individual Grant from the Mass. Cultural Council, and she proudly identifies as a person with a disability. Her one-woman show explored how the arts buoyed her through the challenges of growing up with spina bifida.
