Description

Central Square Theater seeks a Technical Production intern to partake in the planning and technical management of a full professional season. This intern will work side by side with Central Square’s Production Manager to smoothly facilitate shows for Central Square Theater’s multiple performance spaces.

Responsibilities

The Production intern will assist the Production Manager with design runs, tech week, and any major changeovers for the performance spaces. The Technical Production Intern will assist with clerical tasks as well as with hands-on special projects in addition to attending production meetings along with the Production Manager.  The Technical Production Intern may have the opportunity to work with designers and stage managers and assist stage management as needed.

Requirements

The ideal candidate would be an undergraduate student who is interested in stage management, production management and/or technical theater. This person should have outstanding organizational and multitasking skills as well as skills in communication and research. A practical knowledge of Google Workspace is highly encouraged. Experience in one or more areas of production is encouraged.
