She studied at Harbin and Beijing Universities in China, Milton Academy, The Mountain School, Stella Adler New York, Yale Drama Intensive, and The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art Intensive in London and graduated from Vassar with a double major in Political Science and Drama and a minor in Mandarin. She has been mentored by Dame Janet Suzman and Christine Baranski and studied with Lesly Kahn, Jeff Perry, Jack Plotnick and the late Mike Nichols, Gerald Shoenfeld, Earle Gister, and Kristin Linklater.
Caroline is the Founder of Theatre for Good; through performances and classes, she has raised over $160,000 for charities. Her project, FOEMS (Film+Poems), brings poetry to the screen and has a strong following of international students, teachers, and poetry lovers on YouTube. She made the independent short film, “Stable,” which just placed at several international film festivals this year. Caroline lives with her husband, concert violinist Gary Capozziello, their dog, Petruchio, and two cats, Dharma and Jahna.
