Job Title: Assistant to the Executive Director, Part time

Assistant to the Executive Director Duties and Responsibilities:
This staff member will be engaged in all aspects of ED responsibilities, including:
- Contracting creative team members for our theatrical season and working with various unions, including Actor’s Equity Association, SDC, and USA.
- Working closely with the bookkeeper regarding contracting and payroll for actors and design team members, including sending out weekly Equity reports and maintaining the season payment schedule
- Planning housing and hospitality for visiting artists.
- Assisting with Budget creation and management.
- Developing relationships with board members and acting as another line of contact for the ED’s office, including scheduling meetings, sending out meeting agendas, and sending out/editing Staff Reports and taking meeting minutes.
- Assisting ED with office operations including maintaining office supplies, and heading all maintenance on the third floor in conjunction with the Production and Facilities Manager and Guest Experience Manager
- Assisting with tasks related to Diversity and Inclusion/ARC and the Not In Our House Sexual Harassment protocols, including attending bi-monthly LineDrawn meetings and updating leadership as needed
- Creating and executing all First Rehearsal paperwork
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Supervision & Collaboration:
- Shares in supervision of Executive Director Intern(s) if applicable
- Collaborates with Artistic, Development, Education, Guest Experience and Marketing Departments.
In-person programs and meetings take place at Central Square Theater in Cambridge; administrative work can take place at CST or remote. Some evening/weekend work will be required.
Qualifications:
1-3 years of administrative experience in arts or cultural services non profit, theater background is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently and have passion for the art form. Ability to assist in budget creation, math skills are required. The ideal candidate will be professional, kind and thoughtful with a sense of humor.

Salary & Benefits: Part time, 22-25 hours per week. Salary commensurate with experience. Range: $17-20 p/h. Paid vacation, December holiday shut down.
